WVO Centrifuge Specifications:
WVO centrifuge comes with pressure gauge, 3/8" ball valve, 2 - 3/8" brass tees, 2 - 3/8" brass hose barbs, and 3/8" close nipple.
The flow rate capacity of the centrifuge for WVO is 2.5 GPM or 150 gallons per hour. The oil cleaning centrifuge measures 6.5" in diameter by 10.5" tall. Rotor is capable of holding 42 oz. of contaminants. One 55 gallon drum of waste vegetable oil will take approximately 20 minutes to process. The viscosity is the critical part of this equation. Oil centrifuge generates (at 85 PSI) a centrifugal force 2,000 times greater than gravity at 6400 RPM. You need to purchase a 1/2 HP motor with pump for wvo centrifuge operation. The oil centrifuge will filter waste vegetable oil, filter used motor oil, filter hydraulic oil, filter gear oil or dewater biodiesel. The wvo centrifuge will remove magnesol with more than one pass necessary. At the end of the process, you can also remove glycerin, which requires no heating. More than one pass may be needed.
